Design & monitoring — engineered, not estimated.
A solar system is only as good as its design. Nexis models your roof, shading, and actual usage to engineer a layout sized to offset your bill — then gives you a real app showing panel-by-panel daily production, so you can see exactly what you're producing and catch any issue early.
Why design matters
A system sized to your home, not a package
Two homes on the same street can need very different systems. Roof pitch and orientation, tree shading through the seasons, and how much power you actually use all change the right array size and layout. Off-the-shelf "packages" ignore this and either underproduce or oversize.
We start with your bills and a shading model, engineer a layout that maximizes production for your specific roof, and pair it with monitoring that reports every panel individually — so a single underperforming module is obvious instead of hidden inside a whole-system number.

What you get
- Usage-based sizing — we model your annual consumption so the system is matched to your bill, not a generic average.
- Shading & layout modeling — seasonal shade analysis to place panels where they produce the most.
- Module-level electronics — Enphase microinverters or SolarEdge optimizers so shade on one panel doesn't drag the rest.
- Panel-by-panel monitoring — a real app showing daily production for every module from your phone.
- Battery-ready engineering — designed so storage can be added now or later without a redo.
- Documented as-built — clear plans and specs you actually keep, useful for service and resale.

How design works
Data
We collect 12 months of usage plus roof, pitch, and shading inputs.
Model
Engineered layout and production model tuned to your roof.
Proposal
A clear design, production estimate, and savings model — no guesswork.
Monitor
After install, panel-level monitoring goes live in your app.

Design FAQ
Answers, straight up
We start from your actual electricity usage over the past year, then factor in your roof's usable area, orientation, pitch, and shading. The goal is to offset as much of your bill as makes financial sense — not to oversize or undersize with a package.
Your app shows daily and historical production for every individual module, plus system totals. If one panel underperforms — shade, soiling, or a hardware fault — you (and we) can see it immediately instead of it hiding inside a whole-system figure.
Module-level electronics let each panel produce independently, so shade or debris on one panel doesn't drag down the whole string. They also enable the panel-level monitoring above.
Yes. We engineer every system to be battery-ready so you can add storage in the future without re-doing the solar design.
